After a long battle with cancer, it is with great sadness and sorrow, we announce that Tristan left us peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, while in the care of Roger Neilson House Hospice Centre for children. Tristan will be forever missed by his father Andrew Peck, mother Deidre Peck, stepmothers Trish Bard and Lindsay Smith, sister Andrea Dillon-Lloyd, brother-in law Darren Dillion-Lloyd, and nephew Eligah Dillon-Lloyd. He has left behind his stepsister's, Jazmine Bard-Dupuis and Crystal Bard-Cleroux.
Tristan was a young man with high hopes who never stopped chasing his dream of becoming a member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Prior to his final journey to Beechwood Cemetery, selected members of the Canadian Armed Forces paid their respects and he was escorted by an honour guard from the 2332 Major Holland VC Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps.
Tristan always said, "he was an army cadet first and a kid second". He inspired all who touched his life with his infectious smile and his love for life. Tristan never saw his disease as a barrier, just another challenge to overcome. Tristan would want all to remember "you are stronger than you believe".
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Barrhaven Legion, 3500 Fallowfield Road, Nepean on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 from 1 to 4:00PM.
Tristan will be interred at the Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa in the Spring of 2020.
In lieu of flowers, the Peck family is requesting donations to the Roger Neilson House Hospice Centre.

My sincere condolence to all of Tristan’s family. I remember a Tristan as a happy little boy, with a great smile and contagious laugh. I am honored to have had that time with him. Rest now and we will meet again.

We followed Tristan's brave journey from Tasmania, Australia. We watched in awe as he fought such a hard battle so courageously. His short life touched many worldwide! Sending love to his mum and stepmum(our connection to their family) and of course all other family and friends. Our love will be there with you all today x

You came into this world and are leaving this world a man. Your honor and heart is a light that no one can extinguish.
Your strength and kindness were a blessing to anyone that was able to experience it. Your love for your family was without a doubt pure and abundant. Your face lit up when Elijah was near. You are and will always be a standard that should be seen by everyone. Your kindness for others was endless. Your strength and determination was and will always be goals everyone should follow. You will live on in everyone that was blessed to have known you. Your thoughtfulness for others was endless. Even when it should have been about what you need you made a point of letting others know that you where there to talk or explain.
God has gained an amazing angel today. Get all the ice cream you can get.

We played the game Rust together. I met him on discord and he opened up to me... I was so sad for him and hoped this day wouldn't come. One of my best friends was him whom I met on a video game. My condolences to all others who cared for him...
