It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Fahie on February 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Sandra (née Shaw) and devoted father to Jeff (Karen), and the proudest grandfather to his cherished granddaughter, Kaytlin Fahie, who brought immense joy to his life. He is survived by his brother Stephen (Jean), and was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss his presence in their lives. Terry was predeceased by his infant daughter Jennifer, his parents, James and Frances Fahie, and his brothers David and Kenny.
Terry dedicated over three decades of his life to serving his community as a civilian member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His commitment to public service was a defining aspect of his character and career. Terry will be forever remembered by his extended family, friends, and former colleagues who knew him throughout his distinguished career with the RCMP.
Family, friends and colleagues are invited to gather and celebrate Terry’s life on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
Those wishing to honour Terry's memory may make donations to Prostate Cancer Research, a cause close to his heart. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

Our sincere condolences to Sandie and Jeff and family. We first met Terry and Sandie in Florida at the Aquanique and quickly became friends. Our friendship continued even after we both stopped going to Florida and we met them monthly for luncheons. Terry always had a sense of humour and we enjoyed his friendship and company. He will be greatly missed.
