On Saturday December 21, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Madeleine (née Besner). Loving father to Jim (Larysa Rozumna), Kira (Paul Chernotsky) and Anik (François Puchin). Proud and cherished grandfather to Max, Alexander, Boyan, Kaylie, Sandrine and Audrey. Dear brother of Alexander (Pam) and Gordon (Ann) and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to gather and celebrate James’ life at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) on Saturday January 18, 2020 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Words of remembrance and eulogies will be presented at 12 noon.

We too have learned so much from both Jim and family. Words such as wonderful husband and hard worker and loved by all.
Being surrounded by such love. He always said hello with a smile. Fortunately had an amazing family which stood by his side whenever possible. Being stoic was a lesson to all of us. A MAN In A Million

Jim warmed the hearts of all who knew him. Although we will always miss his presence, he lives on in every one of us.

I first met Jim over 50 years ago when he was the Class Manager for my Basic Systems Training (BST) class at IBM in Montreal.
Later we met again when we both worked in Plans & Controls (P&C) at IBM Canada's Head Office in Toronto.
Jim always had a smile and a positive attitude to life. My condolences to Madeleine and the rest of the family.

I didn’t know you long Jim. In that brief time, however, I came to learn that you and Madeleine shared a good life, creating and raising a clever, caring, courageous Family.
