LOW, James C.

On Saturday December 21, 2019 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Madeleine (née Besner). Loving father to Jim (Larysa Rozumna), Kira (Paul Chernotsky) and Anik (François Puchin). Proud and cherished grandfather to Max, Alexander, Boyan, Kaylie, Sandrine and Audrey. Dear brother of Alexander (Pam) and Gordon (Ann) and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to gather and celebrate James’ life at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) on Saturday January 18, 2020 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Words of remembrance and eulogies will be presented at 12 noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Canada (www.als.ca) will be appreciated.

My deepest condolences to the Low family for their loss. I have fond memories of Jim from my youth. He was always so kind and welcoming. I know my parents will miss their friend dearly.

Jim was a dear and true friend we have known for over fifty years. We shared some wonderful times traveling, sailing, hiking and enjoying many dinners together.
We will miss you and have you forever in our memory.

Stan Peck

I have known Jim for over 50 years. He was Class Manager when I took Basic Systems Training on joining IBM and we later both worked in Plans & Controls at IBM HQ. He had a positive attitude to life and we will all miss him. My condolences to Madeleine and the family.
