Ida Elinor Barker née Holland-Avery

On February 28, Ida found peace after a brave battle with cancer.   Ida-spider was a breathtaking artist, seamstress, humourist, and naturalist.  Ida was born in Bournemouth, and emigrated to Montreal in 1954, with then husband John.  She had many friends and was passionate about her British heritage.  She is survived by spouse, Allan Jones; daughters Sabrina and Geneviève; and grandchildren, Alex, Malcolm and Mikele, and many loving English relatives.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother Denise nee Bailey. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family.
