Born in Bejjeh, Lebanon.
Passed away, at the age of 84, on Wednesday, October 2nd 2019, surrounded by close family at his bedside.
Bechara is survived by his wife, Souad Adem and their 3 children, George (Leila), Gilbert (Hay-Love) and Jad (Barbara). Bechara was a loving grandfather of Evangelo and Antonio Sakr. He was a loving brother to the late Sakr (late Bahiya), the late Phillipe (Sayde), Hafez (Lily), Marie (late Fares) and Nkoula (Mona), and their families.
Bechara lived his life devoting his time to God and his family. He was trusted and respected within his community. Bechara was a hardworking, tough and brave man. He had self-respect, humility and dignity.
Friends and family are invited for visitation at St. Charbel Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Following the Funeral, burial will take place at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
