Passed away in peace after a lengthy illness at age 87. Survived by her children Charles Thomas (Suzanne), Jennifer Anne (Ben), Geoffrey William (Brent) and grandchildren Jacquelyn Nicole (Jake) and Nicholas Hunter. Barbara will be fondly remembered by many friends and extended family in Lachute, Montreal and Sixteen Island Lake, Quebec, Manchester, New Hampshire and in Ottawa. She was predeceased by her loving husband Thomas Cresswell as well as her parents, William and Florence Richards. A private Celebration of Life has taken place at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of 5E at The Ottawa Hospital and all the great staff at Oakpark Retirement Community for their sincere devotion. Donations in Barbara’s memory can be made to the Sixteen Island Lake Union Church.
