It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Fay Hemphill on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 at the age of 80. With her loving daughter (Shari) and son in law (Ted) by her side, she passed peacefully and quickly in Kingston, ON.
Fay is predeceased by her parents Lola Crawford (2017) and Richard Crawford (1995) of Fredericton, NB and by her loving husband Major Lorne Hemphill (2017). She will be fondly remembered by her siblings Arnold (Janet), and Gerry (Brenda), and will be greatly missed by her children Richard, and Shari Southin (Ted). Fay will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Tara Bulley (Skyler) and Carlie Southin (Jack) and by her new great grandchild Myles Bulley.

Fay was a native of Fredericton, NB where she completed her schooling to become an RN. Fay then moved to Ottawa, where she worked as an RN at NDMC for nearly 30 years. She will be missed by her many friends/coworkers from NDMC, especially Lynda O’Dwyer.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Beechwood, Cemetery and Funeral Service, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa at 9:00 on Friday, July 5th, 2019. The funeral will follow visitation at 10:00, and reception will take place at 11:30.

Memorial donations in memory of Fay can be made to Rosebridge Manor (Jasper, ON). Thank you to the wonderful staff for their care and friendship.
