Emile Ghie

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side in Ottawa on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
Beloved husband of Marie Ghie (née Mitri) .
Loving father of Elie (Mirna El-Agha), Jason (Nadine Hage), Jad (Darine El-Chaar) and  Nancy (Wassim Abi-Khattar) .
Cherished grandfather of Janna, Nora, Anthony, Kalina, Leia, Emileo, Matteo and Evyana Ghie; Dalia and Bernard Abi-Khattar.
Caring brother of the late Eva (late Samih El-Ghazal), Emilie (Ibrahim Bechara), Marie (late Georges Boutros) and Nadia (Jean Karam) .
He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. His memories will live on in their hearts forever.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00pm  at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Saint Charbel Parish, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street, Ottawa.
Interment Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline, Ottawa.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, registration, social distancing and face mask are in effect, you may be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation and gratitude to the Riverside Hospital Hemodialysis ward, doctors, nurses and staff.
In memory of Emile, donations can be made to Saint Charbel Church.
