Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 86. A beloved wife, devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Sebastião Rodrigues Guimarães; by daughter Maria, and son Dean (Julie). Predeceased by her eldest son Tony (Kathryn Tremblay). Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren; Cody, Dylan, Paige, Morgan, Brooke, Torey, Camryn, Matthew and Kristian.
A private ceremony will be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa).
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Zelinda, a charity of your choosing would be greatly appreciated.
