It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our much loved father and brother Joe Tardioli on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the age of 61. Joe was a caring and gentle soul, passionate soccer player, devout Miami Dolphins fan, and a talented woodworker who left his mark on numerous construction projects across Ottawa over a long and successful career. Devoted father of Aldo and Michela, beloved brother of Tina, forever “Zio Joe” to his nephew Luca and niece Daniela, and predeceased by his parents Angelina and Pasquale. Joe’s memory will also be cherished by the mother of his children, Sonia Pescatore, and all his extended family and friends in Ottawa, British Columbia, and Italy. We will miss you and love you always. The family would like to thank all first responders who helped during this difficult time.
A private Celebration of Life service will be held for Joe in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021. The service will be livestreamed and you can register by Clicking Here.
A public memorial for Joe will follow on Saturday, October 9, 2021 in the Hatch Salon at the Canadian Museum of Nature where all are welcome to drop in between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. Proof of COVID 19 vaccination required.
