David died peacefully at St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa on September 2, 2021, at the age of 86 of dementia.
Beloved husband of Joan for 36 years, dear stepfather of Kristine Kennedy, step- grandfather to Tyler Kennedy, brother-in-law to Lorne Munro as well as uncle to many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Gail Munro (Ottawa), his parents, brothers Fred, John and William, and sister Jean, all of Toronto.
David’s family extends their deepest gratitude to Dr. Uppal, Jill, Michelle, and all the staff of Cavan at St. Patrick’s Home, for their compassionate and loving care for the past three years.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. If desired, donations to St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa Foundation would be appreciated.
