It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Marie Christiane “Sylvie” Trudeau on May 12, 2021 at the age of 63. She will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend Michael Swiech. She is survived by her brother Francois Trudeau (Joanne Durand) and sister in law to Gary Swiech (Bev), Donna Swiech, Terry Swiech (Cindy),Theresa Reid (Bill), Marie Swiech, Joan Schermerhorn (John D), and Paul Swiech. Also survived by cousins, neices and nephews. Predeceased by her parents.
Sylvie served as a postal clerk from 1976 until 1994. She was posted to Gagetown, Lahr, Moose Jaw ,Trenton, Egypt and Cyrpus.

A private family Memorial Service will be held on Thursday May 27, 2021 with internment at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces. Those wishing to virtually attend via livestream can register with link provided above.

I first met Sylvie in Lahr Germany. She was the type of person that you liked the first time that you met her. She was a welcome addition wherever she served in the CF Postal Branch. She unfortunately is gone way too soon. My sincere condolences to Her husband Michael and her extended family. Rest In Peace Sylvie.
Sylvie was a great lady, I will miss her a lot at the card shows in Ottawa. She really deserver to Rest in Peace
