Irina was born in Ternopil Ukraine, completed her education at the Lviv National University. She was a loving wife of Zinovi for 39 yrs. They did everything together in a deep, loving partnership, supporting one another through all of life's challenges including their final journey together in Irina’s battle with cancer. Irina’s love for her daughter was unconditional, boundless and eternal, and she always made sure that Natalia knew this. She supported Natalia in every endeavor until her final days and encouraged her to feel empowered to follow her dreams because she was raised by a strong and supportive mother. They immigrated to Canada in 1991 and lived in Montreal, Hamilton, London and Ottawa.
