With sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Lloyd Clark, age 67, on March 23, 2021, at the Ottawa Hospital (General Campus).
Michael was the only son of the late Beverley (Gladman) and the late Douglas Clark, and favourite brother of the late Julie (late Michael) McIntyre, Lindsay (Bob) Whillans, Tracey (John) Murray, the late Kolleen, and Tammy (Alessandro) Giuliani. Uncle Mikie cherished his nieces and nephews: Kevin McGarry, Craig (Jennifer) and Allison (Kristy) McIntyre, Jennifer (Jess) Nadon-Murray, Connor Murray, and Zachary (Chris), Erica and Matthew Giuliani; as well as the next generation of family "babies:" Raven and Madison McGarry, Ciarán McIntyre, Quinn Marlow, and Phoenix Murray. Michael will be fondly remembered by special cousin Doreen Stoeser, lifelong friend Nancy Wouters, and good buddy Mike Morris.
Michael was one of a kind: a humble, straightforward, honest and generous guy who worked hard and loyally protected his family and friends. He had a big heart and freely offered his services to seniors and virtually anyone needing help. He loved children and animals and shooting the breeze, an asset for such a garage sale junkie. Michael was happy to share his political views based on a keen tracking of current affairs. And how he adored motorcycles and his beloved truck.
Michael was a "Gloucester Guy," growing up in Blossom Park and spending much of his early and teen years on the family dairy farm in Leitrim. He was the proud proprietor of Mylark Services until illness stole his vitality and, with stoic acceptance, he had to retire.
Michael's family wishes to thank Dr. Nicolette Fellegi for her commitment to Michael's care and well-being. A graveside service was held at Beechwood Cemetery. Please honour Michael's memory with an act of kindness.
