After a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, Kathleen passed away at the age of 79. She leaves behind her adoring husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob” McCormick, as well as her loving children, Craig (Chantel), and Catherine (Andrew) MacDevitt. She will be dearly missed by grandchildren; Kristofer, Brayden, Connor, and Noah and great-grandchildren; Jaxon and Lyla.
Fondly remembered by her siblings; Michael (Zennith), Bernice, Alan (Patt), Daniel (Gloria), and Eric (Suzanne) Evenson and sister-in-law Elaine Evenson.
Kathleen was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Philomena, as well as brothers Theodore and Walter.
The family wish to thank the Oncology Unit at the Ottawa General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during Kathleen’s final days.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
