Richard Cordick, known to friends as Dick, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and children. Dick served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 28 years and also worked for the Federal Government, devoting 42 years of his life to public service. Son of Albert and Theresa Cordick. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley. Loving father of Paul (Sheri Radford) and Lisa. He will be missed by his two sisters, Denise and Patricia, and his many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held in National Military Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place when COVID-19 restrictions allow. Special thanks to nurse practitioner Mike Bingley and all the nurses from Bayshore Home Health for their palliative care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or your local humane society would be appreciated.
