Passed away peacefully in hospital at the age of 84. Predeceased by his loving wife, Florence Taggart (2019) after 60 years of marriage. Loving father to Steven (Nathalie), Donald (Sue); Granddaughter Samantha, grandson Kyle; nephews Peter (Ann Lise), Kenny (Ginger), Ron, Robby and Ricky and niece Diane Grummisch.
The family would like to thank all the staff on the A1 geriatric unit at the Civic campus for their excellent care in George’s final days. A graveside service will be held privately at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON).
