Jean died peacefully surrounded by family at the General Hospital on Tuesday, March 10th 2020 at age 75. She was pre-deceased by her parents William and Dorothy (Pasch) and brother William Henry (Sandra). Jean is survived by her beloved husband Peter after 43 years of happy marriage and loving daughter Terri-Lynn Walowetz (Trevor). She had a career with the Ottawa Board of Education that spanned 34 years happily teaching young children. Jean lived her life with a special sense of kindness, sincerity and humbleness. Her footprints have been left in the hearts of her family, friends and the children she taught throughout her life.
A private family service and interment will be held at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services. Donations can be made to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

Jean will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Her empathy and kindness were complemented by her superb organization, quick wit, and sense of humour. She was a blessing to both friends and family.
