Florence, I wish I was there for you today! I had wanted to be there. I am so grateful for you being in my life! You were a gem! 101.10.1 ! Is a long long life ! I still remember going on that wonderful walk with you and Bill to the Parliament buildings to see the changing of the guard’s! Rest In Peace, my Mother-in -law! As Bill said, “the daughter” you didn’t have. Amen Donna Maxwell ( Your son’s wife, Donna Kay) your forever pen ???? pal !

We’ll always have wonderful memories of Florence Maxwell, she was such an important part of the Summit Avenue community. A real inspiration, we’ll remember her as a kind, strong and self-sufficient lady who, into her 90s would make the long trek over to Bank Street for groceries. That’s why she lived to 101....amazing! We’ll miss her, but will remember her fondly.
