Aged 76, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 6, 2019. She was born January 13,1943 in Hamilton, Bermuda. She left home in 1960 to attend Teacher's College here in Ottawa. She returned to Bermuda shortly after but decided she didn't like teaching so she returned once again to Ottawa in 1963 and worked for Freidmans and then on to The Ministry of Immigration and Manpower for 29 years.
She is survived by her husband Garry, her 2 brothers, Alfie and Ted, her 2 boys, Richard and Kurtis, her 2 grandsons, Isaiah and Ashton, her stepchildren, Lynne, Lee and Larry.
Family, friends and others whose lives Rochelle touched are invited to the Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, Ontario on Saturday, October 12 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Interment and reception will follow. Please join us to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
