Robert Joseph Matte passed away suddenly at the age of 67 on September 27, 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario. Predeceased by his mother Jeannette Matte, on July 26th, 2019, Robert leaves behind his four loving children; Christopher, Tracey, Leah and Melissa, as well as his dear father Alcide.
Robert aka Bob was known for his bright personality, playful sense of humour and forever forgiving nature. It is no secret why he was considered to be a father by so many and will truly be missed. His family and loved ones find closure in knowing that Robert’s name will continue to live on through our memories of him. Bob was known as a giving person and even in death, his giving continues by his donation of organs and tissues through The Trillium Gift of Life Network. We love you DADDY!
