Marjorie died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 25. She was 99 years old, just two weeks shy of her 100th Birthday. Marjorie was one of the few remaining Canadian overseas veterans of the Second World War. Her efforts in that conflict was as a member of the British Bomber Command, based in northern England. Throughout the war, Bomber Command directed the continuous sorties of Hurricanes, Spitfires, and Lancaster bombers into Germany.

Marjorie was one of the kindest most giving people I have ever known. Whenever we entered a store and there was a panhandler outside, she always made sure she had change ready to give them. Any time I left mom, her last words to me were - do you need anything, can I get you anything, and always - drive carefully, keep both hands on the wheel.

Marjorie leaves behind her 3 sons, Christopher, Peter, and Michael. Granddaughters Angela, Kristin, Tara, and Layla. Great- granddaughters Caitlyn. Daughters- in-law Monique, Marsha, Judy, Joanne. Goddaughter Elizabeth. Today, we would have celebrated her 100th birthday.
