It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ret. Assist. Commissioner Marcellin "Marcel" Coutu of the RCMP on January 6, 2025, in Ottawa, at age 89. He leaves behind his loving wife Sylvia, three charming daughters Cynthia, Stephanie and Nathalie, and two adorable granddaughters Isabella and Cordelia.
There will be no funeral nor visitation.
C’est avec tristesse que nous annonçons le décès du Commissaire-Adjoint Marcellin « Marcel » Coutu, retraité de la G.R.C., le 6 janvier 2025 à l’âge de 89 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son affectueuse épouse Sylvia, ses trois charmantes filles Cynthia, Stéphanie et Nathalie, ainsi que ses deux petites-filles adorées Isabella et Cordelia.
Il n’y aura pas de funérailles ni visites.
Uncle Marcel, I will remember as a man of compassion, strength, eloquence and logic.
