KRITSCH, Douglas- Unexpectedly on Sunday, January 17th, 2021, at the age of 74. Douglas passed away from a heart attack. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley (2009). He leaves behind his loving sons Jason (Jennifer) and Ben. Loving grandfather to Evan and Cameron.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Jason, Ben and extended family. I was sorry to hear of your Dad's unexpected passing and know what a shock it was for you. Your Dad was a very talented man, both at work and also with his hobbies. His artwork is incredible and he sure loved to tie those fish lures. You will have so many memories to reflect on over the years and those memories will become a treasure. Doug (aka “J.C. “) was a valued friend and Year ‘68 classmate while we were at Kemptville College . We were also both employed at the C.E.F and would see each other from time to time over the years to catch up . My condolences to his family .
