It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Corey Mac Nason on Monday, March 25, at the age of 65. Mac was the loving father of Jeremy (Ali), Meredith and Hania, cherished brother of Sandra, Janet (Gary) and Tim (Colleen). He was the loving grandfather to the great joys of his life, Zoe and Mary. Mac was the beloved uncle of Michael, Julianna and Cameron. He was born in Saint John, New Brunswick, son of Grover and Helen Nason, and will be dearly missed by his Maritime clan. Mac spent his early career in the Federal Government, followed by many years as a Professor of Library Sciences at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Following his retirement and at the time of his passing, passionate lifetime student Mac was pursuing his dream of a PhD from the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa.
