Succumbed to heart failure after a long struggle with poems disease, a rare and complex blood cancer, on February 13, 2021.
He leaves to mourn his wife Rosemary and the two daughters he adored, Alexis and Brianna. Lt. Colonel Timothy Orange was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Joycelyn (nee Urquhart) Orange. Tim has now joined them and will enjoy their company at their place of rest.
Sister Virginia, brother Tom and partner Rose Austin, sisters Cynthia and brother-in-law Joseph Fardell, sister Maryanne and brother-in-law Gary Ross, know his stories will never rest until heaven‘s end.
Tim was a proud and devoted soldier in the Canadian Army during his 42 year career. Tim served with the Argylls and Sutherland Regiment, 2PPCLI, 3 Commando The Airborne Regiment, The Royal Regiment of Canada, The Lorne Scots, as their commanding officer and finished his career with the Royal Canadian Regiment.
He served all across the globe for Canada and regaled us with stories of serving during the Montreal Olympics, overseas tours in Cyprus, Bosnia and Afghanistan.
He adored his daughters Alexis and Brianna. Nothing was more important to him than knowing he set them up to launch careers in professional ballet and in the dramatic arts should they so choose. In surviving this complex disease he taught all who knew him how to truly give your all to every task at hand.
We will miss him with the same vigour.
Rest now dear soldier. We’ll miss you and will be watching for you. Winds 5. Carry on. Booyah.

I had the pleasure of working with Tim for a short time when he served at DG Space a few years ago. We had the luck to reconnect recently through amateur radio and I always looked forward to him joining the weekly radio net as he had such a positive outlook. He was a perfect gentleman and I am saddened with his loss. My condolences to his family.

Tim was an awesome Husband a good Father and my cousin. Tim was close to me as was Cynthia we all were born a year apart in age and with his passing a part of that triangle is gone. Rest in Peace Cousin, we will soldier on without you but knowing you will watch over us.
Although I’ve only known Tim a short time he was easy to like. I’ll remember him as a true gentleman and valued member of the military fraternity. Fair winds and following seas friend.
