Passed away with courage and dignity on Friday, November 22, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late Maria Elisa (nee Tomas), he is survived by his cherished children, Rosa (Kevin Bidner) and George (Cristina Pereira), his adored grandchildren Morgan, Joey and Lora Bidner as well as Sarah McDonald (Daryl), Jorge Miguel and Daniela Duarte. He will also be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family in Portugal, in France and in Brazil.
Visitation will be held at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Wednesday, November 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Senhor Santo Cristo Parish, 1100 Kenaston St., Ottawa, on Thursday, November 28 at 11 a.m.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rousseau, Anne Roberts and the team of nurses at the Montfort Hospital for the care and comfort they provided.
