It is with sorrow that we mark the passing of Professor Fazlollah Reza, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, professor, colleague, and mentor. Born on January 1, 1915 and died on November 19, 2019. Professor Reza lived an amazing life and served as an inspiration to many.
Friends and family are invited to a reception in his honour on Friday, November 22, 2019 between 1:30 and 4:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, K1L8A6. A second reception will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2019 between 2:00 and 4:30 pm at the Colonel By retirement residence, 43 Aylmer Street, Ottawa, K1S5R4.

Prof. Dr. F. Reza was an eminent and internationally renowned scientist. He would be missed by the community of scholars in Engineering and Mathematics. He was the first to found Information Theory on mathematics. During his life span, he contributed significantly to human well being.
A great Scientist, philosopher , author, mentor and benevolent person who was dearly admired in so many countries . A brilliant mind faded away but his legacies will endure to guide many generations to come.
