After a long and sad battle with Alzheimer's, Pearl passed away peacefully on July 26, 2019 at the age of 78. She leaves behind her loving husband of 59 years, Normand. Her children will cherish her forever:  Daniel, David (Debra) and Liane (Barry). She is predeceased by her parents Elizabeth (Theriault) and Denis as well as her sister Lucille (Howard) and brother Robert (Brenda). She is survived by her brothers William (June), Charles (Kathy) and Louis. Pearl was a precious gem who loved to sew, shop, decorate and travel. Her greatest pleasure came from spending time with family and friends. The family is extremely grateful to the entire staff at the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Centre for their loving care and compassion.  Friends and family are invited to a Visitation, on Saturday, August 3rd, at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue,) at 11am followed by a Memorial Service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Perley Rideau Veterans Health Centre Foundation; the Dementia Society of Ottawa or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

My wife and I have known Pearl for all our lives and we will always remember her, especially since left us at an unexpected age. No doubt you feel the same way and your wishes would have been for her to spend several more years with you, especially since have yourself just reached the age of 84. Love Jeanne & Ed Saulnier

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news Liane. Your mom who was like a 2nd mom to me growing up will be always fondly remembered. I have so many great memories with your family. She was always so kind, gentle and I remember her laugh and smile. May she Rest In Peace. My condolences to you, your Dad, Dave and Dan. Love you. Xox ????????????
