My Uncle Don loved his cup of coffee and he loved to travel.
Helen and Don got to see many countries around the globe, and I was fortunate enough to meet up with them on a few of their adventures. Some wonderful memories there.
He was a quiet and caring man that (when prompted) could offer a sensible opinion on a wide variety of topics. Don was always in-tune with what was happening in the world and enjoyed a good laugh at the follies of our political leaders.
It was a delight to have a man like that as an Uncle. Rest peacefully Don.

The Waddell Family were our neighbours for 43 years. I served with Don on the session of the Riverside United Church. He was a member of the R.U.C. for many years . His help and service there was considerable. We send our sincere condolences to Helen and their whole family. Sincerely Glen & Jean Culham

Don was a kind and thoughtful friend for Roger and me as soon as we arrived at Riverside United Church. He has been missed during his time of illness and will leave a happy memory for us of better times.

I knew Don as a teacher first and then as one of my best friend's dad. I knew he was a good, patient and kind person but I didn't realize how many lives he touched. My family want to send Helen and family their heart felt condolences, and pray that your memories of Don get you through this difficult time. Sending you our love, Lisa, Glenn, Stephanie, Christina , Jonathan and Athena

Don has been so much a part of life in the church and community and an inspiration to our family and to so many others.. His genuine caring for those he met and those he supported was so evident and appreciated. His leadership in teh church through worship and enthusiasm for all the activities of the church were inspirational, as was his commitment to his community. especially through his years of commitment to ensuring that the needy could participated in Christmas turkey dinners, that we could always engage in recycling and his ecumenical commitment and his devotion to teaceing and learning were always evident. His caring for his family and others truly came from the dept of his hear as did his actions as a Christina. He will remain an inspiration. Sympathies to his family on his loss, and our best wishes to them in the future.
