C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Jasmin Major à l'âge de 40 ans. Il est décédé à l'Hôpital de Hull après avoir perdu son combat contre le cancer.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien aimée Anathèle Zamor, ses parents Marcellin et Micheline Major, son frère Guillaume, de nombreux membres de la famille, amis et êtres chers.
La famille recevra les condoléances au Centre commémoratif national Beechwood, 280 av Beechwood, Ottawa, le mercredi 24 juillet de 19h à 21h, le vendredi 26 juillet de 19h à 21h ainsi que le samedi 27 juillet à partir de 13h00, les funérailles et une célébration de la vie de Jasmin débuterons à 15h.
Vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire par un don à la Société canadienne du cancer dédié à la recherche pour le cancer du poumon.
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jasmin Major at the age of 40. He passed away at the Hull Hospital after losing his battle with cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife Anathèle Zamor, his parents Marcellin and Micheline Major, his brother Guillaume, many family members, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive condolences at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa on Wednesday, July 24th from 7pm to 9pm, on Friday, July 26th from 7pm to 9pm and on Saturday, July 27th after 1pm, followed by a Funeral and celebration of Jasmin's life starting at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society dedicated to lung cancer research.

It never seems fair when people we are close to die. I know first hand the struggle of caring for a loved one afflicted with cancer. I want to tell you that I am so sorry for the loss of Jasmin. I was lucky enough to have spoken to you Jasmin via a WhatsApp video call. Technology gave me the privilege of briefly experiencing your smile, your light, and your joie de vivre. Dear Anathele, my most profound condolences for your tragic loss. I am thankful I got to know Jasmin. I will remember his kindness, his humour and his great big smile.
