Marilyn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the age of 66.

Beloved wife of Daniel Jodoin. Loving mother of Diane (Sam), Camille (Phil) and special pet Oliver. Dear sister of Margaret (Frank), Syl (Carol), Terry, Ruth, and Wayne (Robin). Predeceased by sister Diane (Bruce) and her parents Mary and Henry Allard. Dear sister-in-law of Cheryl (Tom), Penny (Jerry), Mark (Brenda) and Susan (Cliff). Predeceased by mother and father in-law Evelyn and Florentin (Peanut) Jodoin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn loved to read, to travel, to spend time with family and friends and to find a good bargain.

She lived a life devoted to God, sharing kindness and caring for others. She took many joys in simple pleasures.

She lived with a courage, strength and grace that has changed the lives of everyone around her.

Special thanks to Dr. Vickers, Dr. Bertens, Dr. Nair and the nurses of 5NE at the General Hospital. Thank you Father Tom Riopelle and Dr. Bright for comforting and providing Marilyn with quality care.

Funeral and internment will be held on August 5th at 1:00 PM at the Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. All guests are invited to gather by 12:50 in front of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. in order to form a procession to the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Marilyn’s honour to the Canadian Cancer Society is appreciated.

Rest peacefully, Mom. We love you

Dear Uncle Kim, Diane, Camille, and Family,
Aunt Marilyn will be missed. She was always so kind and thoughtful and took a genuine interest in others' lives. Looking back at the photos on the lake the last time we were all able to be together, brought back great memories that will never be forgotten. All of you have been in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.
Love, Jon, Nicole, Emerson, and Ella

AM SO SORRY THAT MARILYN HAS PASSED AWAY. YOU HAVE LOST A GREAT WIFE AND MOTHER. MARILYN WAS VERY BRAVE AND STRONG GOING THROUGH HER TREATMENTS I AM SURE AS I TALK ED TO HER ON THE PHONE FROM TIME TO TIME. I AM GLAD THAT HER SUFFERING WAS SHORTENED.

WE WORKED TOGETHER IN THE 1980'S AT AGULNIK AND GREENBERG, OTTAWA, STARTING JUST A WEEK OR TWO APART. WE ENJOYED A HOLIDAY TOGETHER IN PUERTA VALLARTA, MEXICO AND KEPT OUR FRIENDSHIP THROUGH THE YEARS SOMETIMES STAYING AT YOUR HOME.

THROUGH THE DAYS AND YEARS AHEAD REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES YOU HAD TOGETHER. I WILL REMEMBER YOU IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAY FOR YOU EVERY DAY.

Dan, our condolences to you, Camille and Diane.
We barely got to know Marilyn but we will not forget her smile and the amazing bread she baked.
May her soul rest in peace ?
