Unexpectedly passed away in Ottawa, on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Audrey Crawford (née Stephens). Loving father of Rhonda (John Evans) and late Dwayne Crawford (Kalli). Cherished grandfather of Sarah Evans, Tyler Evans and Jack Crawford. Survived by his sister Linda Collins and brother Kent Crawford (Bonnie). Predeceased by his loving parents Denis and Pearl (née Cooper) and by his sister Karen Crawford. Rick will be sadly missed by his extended family and close friends.

Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa).  Due to COVID-19 restrictions a Funeral Service will be by invitation only. Interment with military honours to take place in the National Military Cemetery, located at Beechwood Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Rick, you may do so towards the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.

Always loved seeing your dad in the hood, usually driving without a shirt on or hanging out in his front yard … always made me giggle !! He’s at peace now … its never easy loosing a parent or sibling, know I’m here for you always Rhonda xo
