Hello Barb, Julia, Jessica and family!

We have had the privilege of getting to know your dad as we are Julie’s neighbours and now friends.
It was a great delight to share time and meals with your dad and mom on their visits out west. We got to know them and love them as family !
When your dad literally landed and was taken to hospital, diagnosed with cancer we were dumbfounded .
Yet we were amazed at the resilience and zest for living each day as he did !
Cancer did not define your dad … he lived with it on his terms ..
When just a week after 2 surgeries he went skiing .. with a patch on his other eye and glasses - we were in awe how he explained the theory and shown the determination to continue living !
Your dad’s lessons in wine, Shelley has learned a lesson or two there …
On their last visit we spent every moment we could with Covid restrictions and again I felt honoured they wanted to have a seafood meal that I served and compliments were not short with love and mutual respect ..

We all will carry a lil of your dad who was graced with his presence and gifts of lessons .. may you all carry out their India trek as you spoke of … until we all meet again … Rosanne
