Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family after a brief battle with cancer, Lynette Ng passed away on April 28th, 2021 at the age of 85.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Lynette became an avid student earning degrees in numerous subjects.  In 1999 she retired from her career as a librarian of Health Science at the University of Ottawa.

Lynette had a passion for family and friends.  She was known for her smile, her enduring kindness and generosity, and her infectious laugh. All of which will be sorely missed.

Preceded by her loving husband of 52 years, Chee-Wah Ng, and her siblings Stephen, Lloyd, Cynthia, Flora, and Lennox. Survived by her loving children Sandra, Angela, Christopher (Christa), granddaughter Kainen, and sister Norma.

A memorial service will take place at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services on Thursday, May 6th, 2021 at 1pm.  Please register for the livestream service at https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_uTOQ3ISNTgi7tD6DwB9z7g

I have never forgotten the beautiful Lynette. It was 50 years ago when she came into our lab but I remember it like yesterday. Our hearts are with you at this very sad time.
