She was born on September 17, 1944 to Joseph Alric Robitaille and Gertrude Geneva Grace in Penetanguishene, Ontario.

Judy was a top student at St. Michael’s Academy in Belleville. After receiving her High School diploma, she went on to Toronto to study hair dressing where she later became a hairstylist.
Judy était une étudiante de premier rang de l’académie St. Michael à Belleville. Après avoir reçu son diplôme d’études secondaires, elle s’enrôla dans un cours de styliste à Toronto pour devenir coiffeuse.
She married Gerard (Gerry) Jacques Michaud on June 26, 1965 and had two children Michael Gerard Michaud and Douglas Guy Michaud.
Judy et Gerard (Gerry) Jacques Michaud se sont mariés le 26 juin 1965 et eurent deux enfants; Michael Gerard Michaud et Douglas Guy Michaud.
Judy dedicated her life as a home maker creating stability for her military family. She loved to read, bake, knit and was an avid crafter. She enjoyed playing sports such as baseball and even played centre for her High School basketball team, despite her being vertically challenged. She enjoyed making her homemade goods and crafts for her family and friends to enjoy. She was caring and a beautiful spirit and will be missed by all those that she loved.
Judy dédia sa vie comme maitresse de maison afin de créer une vie stable pour sa famille militaire. Elle adorait lire, cuisiner, tricoter et faire du bricolage. Elle aimait faire du sport comme le baseball, pendant son secondaire elle jouait à la position centre de l’équipe de basketball, malgré sa courte taille. Elle aimait bien fabriquer des projets artisanaux maison pour sa famille, parents et amis. Sa bienveillance et son esprit merveilleux sera manqué de tous ceux qu’elle aimait.
Judy is survived by her Gerry (husband), Michael (son) and his wife (Daniela Constanze Michaud, nee Michalek) and two beautiful grandchildren, Olivia Kate Michaud and Benjamin Trey Michaud. She is also survived by her siblings Peg (Margaret), Paul, Brenda and Joe (Joseph). She is predeceased by her son Douglas Guy and her siblings Huey, Elaine, John, Robert (Bob), Angele, Charlie, Gordon, Joan Elizabeth, and Douglas.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Gerry, son fils Michael (Daniela Constanze née Michalek) et deux petits-enfants; Olivia Kate Michaud et Benjamin Trey Michaud. Elle laisse également ses frères et sœurs; Margaret « Peg », Paul, Brenda et Joseph « Joe ». To Uncle Gerry and the rest of the family.
It is with heavy hearts we bid adieu to another Aunty and sister to my father Hugh Garnet Robitaille.
I remember her kind nature when I was a girl and the good times held when the Uncles and Aunts would summer gather here in Penetanguishene and LaFontaine. And when we kids would sneak looks at the hilarities that ensued when they thought us asleep LOL.
She now is with her siblings and family that went before to clear a path.
