Passed peacefully, on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 78 at the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre, with his family at his side. Beloved husband to Audrey (nee Addison), devoted father to Trevor (Sandra) and Tracey, adoring grandfather to Ashley, Summer, Logan, and Rowan and loving great grandpa to Jace.
Larry proudly served Canada for 26+ years in the RCAF. He held various positions including Radar Warrant Office (RADWO), Installation Support WO, Life Cycle Material Manager and Instructor at CFJLS. His favourite posting was TRACS (Terminal Radar and Control System) in Trenton. Larry loved the outdoors and music and will be sorely missed. Our sympathies to Larry's family. I came to know Larry in the mid-1990s when he first posted his Dewline website. Although we never met face-to-face, over the ensuing years, I came to know him as a true friend and gentleman. We corresponded frequently via email as I contributed material for inclusion on his website. We miss you, Larry.

Sincerest condolences from out family to yours. I am glad to have had the chance to know Larry as Trevor's dad but more so as a friend. We will miss him, his jokes and sayings. R.I.P. my friend.

We miss you Larry, and wish great comfort to you, Audrey, and your family. Like Clive, I never met Larry in person. But we spoke twice by phone. And we enjoyed a good online friendship, thanks to his amazing website about North America's arctic defense initiatives from the 1940s into the 1980s. His hand steadied the tiller. His mind focused our attention. He cared. I miss him. Others will miss him even more. God speed, friend.

Rest In Peace MWO (Ret’d) Wilson, thank you for your long years of service. My deepest condolences to the whole family as well as all my thoughts of comfort and courage.
I have enjoyed the stories and the memories shared by my friend Tracey of her Dad. A truly remarkable man to have raised such a loving family.
Rest In Peace Sir, your service to your country, your love for your family, and your legacy of all those things combined shall remain, and indeed grow as those left behind continue forward in your footsteps.
