Nancy, I just heard from Howard McBride of Jeff's passing. I don't expect you to remember this, but we met at a reunion picnic organized by Ken Billings some years ago -- we had all gone to Assumption Elementary School and then Eastview High, and in my case, Jeff and I had gone through Carleton together. He was very kind to me when my father died just at the end of second year. I remember Jeff fondly, and I hope you are comforted by happy memories.

I was a classmate of Jeff's back in Assumption Elementary School in Vanier. Jeff was a very effective student and goal-oriented with his accomplishments in the federal public sector. Only a few years ago, I responded him on his mother's passing. Originally from Montreal or his family was, he was related to former Canadiens one-time super star Joe Malone.
