My sincere condolences. Eddy and I had many great on-site adventures that took us far and abroad for 30 years. I will always remember the good times we had working on these projects together

Tim and I are keeping you in our thoughts as you grieve the passing of your much loved husband, father and grandfather. His smile was absolutely unparalleled. I will always remember how proud he was on Natasha’s wedding day. It was so touching to see the tremendous love he had for her, and for all of you.

My sincerest condolences to you Lillian and your family. I met you four or five years ago while attending an IEEE meeting with Eddy. I have also had the honor of working with Eddy for the past ten years. He is highly respected in the engineering community and will be missed. May you find strength in this difficult time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Eddy's passing. He was an outstanding metrologist with international credentials, but more importantly, a very decent and approachable individual—someone who will be missed by all who know him!

I am very sorry for the loss of your dear husband, father and grandfather. I knew Eddy very well and had a very warm relation with him. Eddy supported me professionally but also personally. He was my excellent mentor and a wonderful person. I will miss him very much. I wish Lilian, Stephanie and Natasha and their families all the strength in this difficult time. Take care.

Lillian, my sincere condolences to you and the whole So family. It was a great pleasure to work with Eddy in the past decades, and to meet both of you on numerous occasions at international meetings. I will always remember the extensive very pleasant discussions we have had (often in Dutch). He was immensely proud of his family; he will be sorely missed.
