Georges Abourizk

Passed away peacefully on Thursday the 20^th of August, 2020 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Nohad Abourizk born EL Hajj, Dear son of the late Youssef and Lucia Abourizk.

Loving father of Suzanne Ouais (Bassem), Elie, Vivianne Tohme (Fady), Liliane Rif (Joseph), Antoine (Gabrielle Smith) and Michel;

Caring grandfather of Ghassan, Bashir, Bassel (Saria), and Mira Ouais; Samir and Omar Tohme;

Tony, Carine and Melissa Rif; and Anthony and Samuel Abourizk;

Dear brother of Maroun Abourizk (Rose), Georgette Smiley (late Khalil), Dib Abourizk (late Alice), Najat Saikaley (Ibrahim), Elias Abourizk (Nathalie), Michel Abourizk (Zalfa), Sleiman Abourizk (Claude);

Brother in Law of Nelly Abou-Rjeili (George) of Ottawa,  Antoine El Hajj (Paulette),

Elie El Hajj (Noha), Samir El Hajj (Fadia), Samia Kamel (Chehade) all of Lebanon;

 He will be dearly missed by his relations under the following families:

Abourizk, El Hajj, Ouais, Tohme, Rif, Smith, Saad, Howayek, Khouzami, Kraychaty, Tabet, Khouiery, Smiley, Saikaley, Salem, Lamaa, Abou-Rjeili, Kamel and Sawaf.

The funeral service will be on Saturday September 5, 2020 at 10:30 am in St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (2975 Riverside Drive), followed by burial at Beechwood Cemetery.
