At the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on July 14, 2020 at the age of 80. Son of the late Jean and James Craig of Scotland. Husband of Margaret. Brother-in-law to Dr. Ian MacDonald and Susan. Uncle to Rob, Bruce (Kim) and Katherine of Edmonton. Bill was a proud Canadian and Scot, with a commanding presence and a passion for, soccer, history, gardening, gym and animals, especially his beloved westies; Jock and Logan. Bill was a manager of product design at M-I-L Systems Engineering. Private interment at Beechwood Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Humane Society or the Charity of your choice.

I worked with Bill a number of years, and we had our ups and downs at times, but we both had great respect for each other. I had kept in touch mostly by e-mail over the years, but recently we had got together for breakfasts at a restaurant close to Bill's place. One of the days I invited a number of the lads who worked at MIL. So there we were, a bunch of ex working class West of Scotland shipyard workers some of whom hudnie seen each other in a number of years, arguing about politics and football talking about some of the great characters we had met over all the years and of course moanin aboot some of the jobs we had all worked on over that period. it was great! Margaret thanks for all the wonderful support and dedication you have given to Bill especially in the recent years. I can tell you he really appreciated it. RIP Bill you were a one off. Wha's like us.

My parents were neighbours with Margaret and Bill for almost 40years. When I was around 11yo Bill brought me to Montreal to see his niece and go to Montreal Expos game. To this day it is still one of my favourite childhood memories. He made me feel very special like I was a niece to him too. I when I was a teen he was always teasing me in a good natured way about getting it backwards with short hair and long shorts - haha. When I introduced him to my kids, he couldn’t help teasing me about their Catholic names (Sarah, Joseph and Andrew). I will miss you, you old Scot! I loved you very much xoxo
