We are very sad to announce that Suzanne passed away at home on 21 December after a two year battle with cancer. She served in the RCAF as a dietician and nutritionist in Canada as well as overseas. Suzanne leaves behind her husband of 46 years George Popadynec and her brothers Rodger and Paul Armstrong. She was predeceased by her father Beverly Armstrong (ex-RCAF ) and mother Betty ( Whiting ). Friends are invited to gather in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. on Tuesday April 14, 2020 for a memorial service at 10 a.m. followed by a reception. Suzanne's final resting place will be in the Torrance Cemetery in Muskoka with her predeceased family and friends this summer.
George, I enjoyed serving as a military dietitian with Suzanne many years ago. She was a lovely lady ... always kind and pleasant as well as being talented and smart. She will be missed. Please accept my condolences.
