If it wasn't for this man I wouldn't be who I am today or even here at all for that matter. He saved me to say the least and I know I'm just one of the many. He welcomed everyone with open arms and never judged anyone . Omer was a one of a kind gentle hearted guy with a great sense of humor and a smile that could light up a room. He is going to be greatly missed by so many . We love you Omer ! Thank you for everything and for being you ! May you rest in paradise . Until we meet again my friend❤

Dear Semra and Omer,
It is with deep sadness that I am writing this. There are no words to describe the loss of a life taken far too soon.
Tonguc was a kind, generous, and truly unique individual. He saw the world like no one else I have ever met. Among his greatest strengths was his understanding of what motivates and drives people to do the things they do. I was happy to hear that he put these talents towards a career which would channel his energy for the good of his fellow man.
As you know, Tonguc was a very important part of my formative years, and was my closest friend through high school and university. He taught me lessons which forever have shaped and strengthened my character. We were lucky to share more memories together than I can count. He was fun, funny, and lived life to the fullest. There was another side to him too, one that loved others and wanted to be loved and remembered.
I miss him dearly.

My dearest sympathies to Omer's loved ones. Over a period of time, I had to pleasure to work with Omer at the City of Ottawa. He would always walk an extra mile to support colleagues and clients. He was the best advocate. I remember our after work hours where the group would get together and simply have fun to the max. I never laughed so much. Tonguç, you will always be remembered and you will be missed. May your soul rest in peace.

I am so sorry for Omer's untimely passing. He was a ray of light in the office. We shared a love of Manchester United. He'll be playing footie in Paradise for sure.
