It is with great sadness to announce that Elias Laham, peacefully passed away, at the Ottawa General Hospital. He was born to Alia (Haddad) and Hanna Laham in Kfarmishki, Lebanon. Elias immigrated to Timmons, Ontario and was married in Ottawa 1967.
Elias is survived by his beloved wife Vera, devoted children Mona (Rene Gonzalez), George (Tina Venturella) and precious granddaughter Gia. As well as by siblings; Nadia (the late Ernie), Afif (Lorraine), Fouad (Hoda), Nick (Ibtissam), Malake (the late Elias), Joe, Sarah (Fayez) and predeceased by his brother Aide. He will be dearly missed.
Friends and Family are invited to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery & Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, on Thursday, November 28, 2019 from 5 to 8:00PM. Funeral Service will be held at Beechwood on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 10:00AM. Burial in the cemetery will be held at 10:30AM.
In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation – Cancer Research or St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral would be appreciated.
