It is with profound sadness that we share the news that Aimee LeBlanc has peacefully left us on December 14th, 2019 surrounded by her mom, sister, and husband. Aimee took on her journey with cancer with courage and grace. She did not let cancer define her as she enjoyed life to the fullest and sought out adventures big and small, near and far. She dedicated her energy to making life better for others through her work in mental health, housing and homelessness.
Friends and Family are invited for visitation at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, on Thursday, December 19th at 10AM. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Aimee’s memory to Options Bytown.

I had the enormous privilege of working with Aimee on the national research team of the At Home/Chez Soi national study. She was always a collaborative, cheerful and capable colleague. Her smile lit up the room at every meeting. She will be deeply and sorely missed.

Aimee, although we never had the good fortune to meet you, we have heard so many positive attributes about you from Ronald and Nicole. The fact that you worked with our vulnerable populations speaks volumes about your life's journey. Your contribution to the improved well-being of anyone whose lives you touched is a lasting tribute of the power of one. You were and will continue to be an inspiration to all the people in your too short journey on this planet. May God bless you and provide you with everlasting love and peace.
