Colleen treated us so well in Kingston, Jamaica. Years ago shortly after her husband died there.. She was courageous. and fun loving with a great sense of style and grace
She showed wisdom and independence in her decision to return to Ottawa with her young children.
Our prayers are with her.

I adored Auntie Colleen...she was my idol and I will never forget our heart to heart talks and her words of encouragement. My heart will hold her memory always. Much love and joy knowing she is with her father now and her pain has ended.

There are so many reasons why I admired Colleen: her intellect, her humanity, and her kindness. Colleen was the first person in my life who expressed an interest in, and who listened to my story. For this I am forever grateful. We shared many interests as well as many experiences. She is sorely missed.
My condolences to all (friends and family) who loved Colleen.

I first met Colleen at the Ottawa Tennis Club when I was 18 and she was 22. I absolutely idolized her. To me she was so sophisticated, intelligent and of course beautiful. I felt privileged to call her my friend. Our friendship developed and we became "best friends" for many, many years, sharing a time in Edmonton and the Jamaican experience. Over time, living in different countries we drifted but I will never forget her and she will always have a special place in my heart.

Colleen was such a kind and lovely person. She was polite and genuinely took interest in other people when talking to them. That's very rare. My heart goes out to all of you and you remain in my thoughts.
