Dear Francisca,
I had no idea you had passed away in 2019. Today is June 18 2022, you just crossed my mind and I decided to send you an email to bring some interesting work on traditional foods to your attention. A subject that has been your passion. The email was returned to me undelivered. I decided to Google you to see if I can get your current contact and my oh my, what a shock to learn you passed away in 2019 and I never got to know. The last time we communicated was in May 2017, when you told me about a new book you were writing on traditional foods. Francisca, you made a huge impact on African traditional foods. Your work on this topic speaks for itself. May you rest in perfect peace in the arms of your maker.
