I offer sincere condolences to all my cousins, and their children, with the passing of cousin Ruth. I know from personal letters from Ruth over the years, and find solace to learn from several family members that she's lived a very full life. I will pause midday on Aug. 27 to think about my cousin, and comfort myself to think of her joining my departed aunts Grace, Ruth, Jean and my own mom, Edith. Cousin Marney from Ontario

Keith, David and families.......we were saddened to hear about your Mom's passing. We have fond memories of the many years and good times spent with your Mom and Dad on the beach at Dalhousie Lake. Your Mom was a gentile kind and energetic lady always on a mission. She so loved her travelling and her friendships. She will be missed greatly by so many.

Our thoughts are with you all. There are those that you meet that you instantly know are special. Ruth was one of those people. I feel very fortunate to have shared many wonderful moments with her. Sharon

Ruth was always the friendliest neighbour in the neighbourhood. She smiled and brought lots of smiles, with a lightning-quick wit that touched us all. It was always a treat to sit amongst her and the grown-ups at the cottage when I was little, hoping I would get all of her jokes. -Tanner
