On June 18 my life changed forever. God has chosen to take my caring, loving, generous, funny, and loyal husband home to Glory.
He was sick for only 11 days before his death. He died peacefully and without pain while I was holding his hand. He has left his broken earthly body behind and is rejoicing, whole and healthy, with his Father in heaven. Although this is not the plan we had in mind, and I don’t understand the timing or the reason, I know God is in control and will hold me up and give me strength to face each tomorrow until we are reunited in heaven.
Keith is survived by his wife of 27 years Marlene Kuehl, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Karen and Aubrey Allen and Linda and Joe Bell, several nieces and nephews, aunt and uncle Pearl and Rolly Jaekel, many wonderful and close cousins, many dear and loyal friends, sister Marian and brother Scott. He is predeceased by his parents Reg and Colleen Briscoe of Golden Lake.
As per Keith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. If you wish to honour Keith’s memory, a donation to either St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation in Barry’s Bay or The Ottawa Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
Thessalonians 4:13-14
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
